This Energy Saver 2 in 1 Waterfall & Utility Pump 12500 combines exceptional energy efficiency with powerful performance, perfect for ponds, waterfalls, also suitable for utility applications like drainage, garden irrigation, hydroponics, and aquaponics.
Featuring an energy-saving magnetic drive digital motor. This pump is designed to handle demanding tasks while saving you money on running costs with 27 litre/hr per watt.
For Waterfall & Pond - use the horizontal set up and low-maintenance intake cage, featuring a high surface area to reduce pump clogging with pond waste and featuring a low velocity pond intake system and an easy-to-clean, quick-release clip fit cage.
For Utility use - the pump efficiently extracts water from a minimum depth of 41mm and drains it down to 9mm, with low water intake and 6mm solids handling. Installed vertically, it features noise-reducing rubber isolation feet for quiet operation.
No Water Detection – This pump has a Run Dry Protection System prevents costly and inconvenient motor burnout. If a pump runs continuously without water, it can overheat. The pump will detect if the impeller is without water. After one minute the pump will pause. The pump will then test for water by turning the impeller. If it detects water it will resume operating normally.
The Soft Start Flow Feature – a gradual ‘soft’ increase of pressure reduces the risk of leaks, splashes and damage to pipework and fittings. The impeller speed increases from zero to full RPM over a 30 second period.
